Michael has worked in the in the Restaurant & Leisure property sector for the past 15 years in London at CWM and JLL before co-founding Distrkt in 2018. Distrkt are a modern conscious property company that have positioned themselves as a leading hospitality advisor to landlords and estates throughout London, providing strategic and partnership advice as well as a leasing agency role.

Michael has advised some of the biggest and most high-profile landlords in London over the past 15 years. Recent projects include Battersea Power Station, The Crown Estate, The Shaftsbury Estate, Borough Yards, The Knightsbridge Estate, The Portman Estate amongst many others.

Michael and Co-Founder of Distrkt, Camilla Topham have also launched a new business in January 2020 as a joint venture with Restaurant consultants Montana Fogg. Residency is a new hospitality initiative to pair vacant venues with emerging chefs and restauranteurs on a short-term rotation basis. Bringing an energy back to venues and providing the emerging talent with the opportunity for a bricks a mortar home at a very low risk and allowing them to showcase their concepts that they would otherwise not have had if they were taking a traditional lease.
