Bas Buvelot, director Asset Development within CBRE Global Investors for the Dutch retail portfolio, has more than 15 years of experience in the retail & F&B real estate. Started his career at Corio (current Klepierre), a Dutch REIT, where he worked as a property developer on projects like the Markthal Rotterdam and Hoog Catharijne Utrecht. After Klepierre he joined Wereldhave (Dutch REIT) as a team coordinator on the development department. He initiated a lot of redevelopment projects in the Dutch portfolio. In 2018 he joined CBRE Global Investors as a director Asset Development. The main focus is to redevelop the Amsterdamse Poort, a big shopping centre in the southern part of Amsterdam, to a new urban centre with a foodhall in it and a large component of F&B.
