My Name is Ana Martinez, I am 37 years old and I was born in Mexico City. Since I was very young I wanted to be a Chef so I studied in one of the best schools in Mexico city where I had the opportunity to go to Switzerland as an exchange student in Les Roches, 2 years later I finished my Bachelor Degree in International Hotel Management in ICHM in Adelaide , Australia  a swiss hotel association accredited university and graduated in 2004, I had the opportunity to work in different places like Belgium, Switzerland, Los Cabos and Cancun  in different areas of hospitality.  By 2006 and being a Marathon runner I saw the need to have more healthy food available in the city so  I developed and opened a healthy eating restaurant at the age of 26; Senutre Bistro was ahead of its time offering low fat healthy food , being pioneer of its kind and located in the heart of Mexico City was a success  for 9 years; in 2012 I decided to leave the restaurant in great hands and I came to Dubai to continue my professional growth.

Over the past five years I have had the opportunity to learn and develop my skills working with great mentors like Ramzy Majeed, Markus Thesleff, Sergio Lopez, Ross Ledingham, Philippe Moullet, Koen Theunis and Olga Lapanovich just to name a few, each one of them have given me what I was looking for when I left my country, developing and learning in an international level and in a highly competitive market.

Back in 2007 I broke 2 disks in my spine while running so I started practicing yoga as a therapy to be able to walk without pain again, during that time my only objective was to go back to my running training as soon as possible, however, once in Dubai I started practicing yoga again where I found my balance and my peace. When I put all my story together I could only conclude that my passion for yoga, meditation and healthy trends should be in one place. Putting my passion and my career together seems like the next step, do what you love and love what you do… The name of my dream:  YOUtopia where the rest of your day will be changed.
