Founder, Zindiya Streatery and Bar

Zindiya is an Indian Streatery and Bar created by husband and wife team, Ajay & Shivani Kenth, who have planned this venture since their teenage years. Both quitting successful careers to make their dream a reality.  

Their concept was to create an immersive experience of India in a casual and fun environment. 

Over 15 years later, the idea came to life with ZINDIYA. The name is derived from the Hindi word “Zindagi” meaning “life” and the couple’s daughters name Diya, which means light and splendour

Zindiya combats the idea that Indian food consists of curry, rice and naan. Our concept remains true to the authenticity of flavours and dishes only found on the roadsides in India. Zindiya’s menu not only celebrates the vivaciousness of Indian Street Food but delivers customers with high quality products at affordable prices.

Since opening in February 2017, Zindiya has been very well received giving the entrepreneurial couple an increasing desire and drive to grow the brand across the UK & beyond.
