Christopher Hewett
Executive Vice President, Marjan Hospitality
Christopher Hewett is Executive Vice President at Marjan Hospitality, bringing more than 25 years of international experience across the UAE, New Zealand, and Australia in hospitality operations, advisory, development, and portfolio management.
Chris oversees Marjan Hospitality’s landmark Island 3 projects including Wynn Al Marjan Island, Janu Hotel and Residences, and future mixed-use destination developments. He also manages joint venture relationships, including partnership with Wynn Resorts and Aman hotels.
Prior to joining Marjan, Chris led Al Hamra's hospitality and leisure portfolio, overseeing major value enhancement initiatives including hotel repositioning, brand transitions, property redevelopment and destination-wide lifestyle and waterfront developments.
Earlier, Chris spent nearly nine years with TRI Consulting, advising leading government and private-sector developers, owners, and investors across the GCC, Middle East, Africa, and Asia on hospitality, mixed-use, and tourism development strategies, operator selection, and asset optimisation.
Throughout his career, he has built a strong track record in hospitality investment, owner representation, operator negotiations, capital deployment, and stakeholder engagement, working with some of the largest global hospitality brands.
